Dear Brother/Sister in Christ:

I would like to take this opportunity to acquaint you with the Music Ministry of Barbara A. Martin.

I am a native Texan, the youngest of five children, a PK (Preachers Kid), born to Oco (Bill) and Winnie Norris. I repented of my sins and accepted our Lord Jesus Christ as my personal Savior in my early teens.

Over the years, I have been very active in my local church, where I taught in the Sunday School Department and directed children’s and teen choirs. I am also a soloist. I have been singing gospel music since I was two years old, and for many years I sang in duets, trios, ladies sextet, chorale, ensembles and the adult choir in my church. I am currently an active member of Beulah Land Baptist Church in Cleveland, Texas. My pastor is Brother Aubrey Vaughan.

Over the years, I have ministered in various nursing homes in the Houston/Metropolitan area, along with Brother Evert Martin (A retired Preacher) and Brother Rodriguez (a retired Missionary to Cuba). There, the Lord blessed our ministry with many of the elderly coming to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ. I live in Houston, Texas with my husband of fifty six years, Gerald David Martin, Sr. We are the parents of four adult children and we also have fourteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

My ministry in music is a faith ministry, created and organized for the purpose of sharing the gospel of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and restoring the Christian values that made our nation great. I have always had a deep love for America and I fully believe our beloved country was given to us by God, blessed and chosen by Him to be a “city on a hill” to shine forth the gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost and dying world. Now, because we have been lulled to sleep by Satan, America is on a downward path and has turned her back on Almighty God; however, God has promised us in II Chronicles 7:14, “If my people who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

To the best of my knowledge, no one has ever been called by God’s name other than Christians.

I prayerfully appeal to ALL Christians through the writings of our forefathers, Christian and Patriotic songs written in the early days of our country, as well as new Christian and patriotic poems and songs of faith and freedom. And, I pray that that all Christians will heed, obey and claim God’s promise given to us in II Chronicles 7:14. I truly believe if we do not heed, obey and claim II Chronicles 7:14, our nation will surely perish.

I have presently recorded four Albums, and I am available to sing at church services, gospel concerts, patriotic rallies, benefits, etc...., wherever the Lord is lifted up and glorified and wherever He opens the door.

I would sincerely appreciate the opportunity of presenting the Gospel in songs of faith and freedom to your audience and I extend an invitation to all to share in my ministry and labor of love for Him.
